HIMOINSA manufactures gas generator sets with a wide power range, from 10 kW up to 2500 kW. Running on Natural Gas, LPG or Biogas, environmentally friendly fuels, our gas generator are for sale and provide an ongoing supply of power that not only achieves an important reduction in emissions of CO, CO2 and particles into the atmosphere, but also of noise.

The fuel of the future is already part of our present. It is available in most parts of the world, environmentally friendly, economical, safe and has a stable price. It is a continuous energy solution that will help lower your electricity bill and offers a range of benefits. This is the solution adopted globally to reduce our carbon footprint and NOx and SOx particulate emissions.

Widely used in the automotive industry, LPG is beginning to be used by electrical generators. Its versatility allows fuel storage in low pressure tanks, which facilitates use in remote locations or areas where natural gas is not present. It is also used in places where diesel is not of sufficient quality or is liable to theft. It is also an excellent solution for protected areas where a fuel spill can become a major environmental problem.

Biogas is increasingly forming a part of our lives. Governments are beginning to draft legislation requiring the use of methane gas produced by decomposition in landfills and sewage treatment plants, which is highly damaging in terms of global warming and is currently burned in chimneys, as a fuel. Biogas is 100% renewable and does not contribute to global warming.

Carefully selected engines to provide continuous power 24/7, which are efficient, low-maintenance and offer proven durability and reliability.

The HIMOINSA alternator offers maximum reliability at any load, as well as stability, reliability and resistance during power generation. Voltage is automatically adjusted by an electronic regulator supplied by a special winding, isolated from the main winding, which protects it from surges.

Gas Generator Sets For RENTAL

New construction version in a rental canopy that incorporates enough LPG storage for a minimum running time of 24 to 45 hours without refuelling, depending on the model. The integrated tanks are LPG-certified for vehicles, making them a versatile option for the rental sector, where there is a high demand for mobile equipment that is easy to transport and can refuel at a service station with an LPG pump. The versatility of these units means that they can even be used with natural gas just by activating a selector. There are therefore three different power supply options: integrated tanks or external LPG or NG supply, depending on the model.

The HGY-25 gas generator set, which runs on natural gas, only requires two services in its whole service life. Its design, featuring unique parts and incorporating a Yanmar engine with patented technology, means it can work continuously 24/7 for 14 months, making it the perfect gas generattor for oil and gas wells in remote locations as well as for hard-to-reach sites.

Versatile and intuitive controllers, designed for gas-powered generator sets, which simplify their management and control, and guarantee safe operation of the equipment. Solutions for any desired configuration: standalone, parallel or emergency.

Industrial Range GAS Generator Sets

Time never stands still when it comes to power generation. Thousands of projects are designed every day in the industrial sector.  It is estimated that the power demand in the industrial sector will amount to 201,847 MW by 2020, which will account for 70% of the overall power required from generator sets.

Heavy Range GAS Generator Sets

The heavy range of gas generator sets are the power workhorses that institutions, hospitals or financial organisations need. A power outage of a few minutes can incur substantial financial losses for a bank or have serious consequences for the safety of patients in a hospital. High-power generators are required that can supply emergency power to a building in the financial hub of Geneva when a power cut occurs, or continuous power when needed to carry out electrical maintenance tasks in a canning factory that cannot stop production.

Gas generator sets are also an excellent choice for installations in really cold environments in which diesel might be quick to freeze. In actual fact, HIMOINSA has already supplied several such gensets to ensure that gas pipelines in Romania continue to function during the winter snowfalls. Being able to use different types of gas implies important savings in both operating and maintenance costs, not only because such fuels are cheaper in many countries, but also because the useful life of the engines and the service intervals are longer. That is why gas-powered generator sets have become an increasingly interesting option for rental companies looking for profitable equipment.

The search for power generation units with a reduced environmental impact is boosting the sale of gas-powered generator sets. They provide the clean and at the same time safe and reliable power that the international energy market requires. In Europe alone, the market is expected to grow by 1.9 % per annum to 2020. These units ensure a continuous supply of power to salmon farms in South America without any risk of spillage into the marine environment and they make good use of the natural gas that is released from oil extraction wells in Colombia.

All the gas-powered generator for sale at HIMOINSA, irrespective of their size, include a full gas train with all manner of safety elements. The HIMOINSA Engineering Team works continuously to develop ever more efficient units as far as the optimal utilisation of space is concerned. The aim is to incorporate larger tanks without increasing the actual size of the genset. The service intervals are increasingly longer, in fact an entire range of gas-powered generator sets run by Yanmar engines have service periods of up to 10,000 hours. All these aspects, not to mention the low cost of the fuel, implies a radical reduction in the OPEX of these gensets.
