Generators and Lighting Towers for Construction Sites

Find out what are the necessary features for your equipment

The activity in the construction sector in Australia is steadily growing and reaching the highest levels for the last 12 years.

As the country grows, construction of infrastructures like roads, bridges, etc. are where generators are used most and where we can offer you our many years of expertise.

What features do we need in a generators for a construction site?

Most likely electricity won't be able in a construction site. Specially remote ones. If we are talking about a residential complex, an office building or a shopping mall, the power is usually provided once the site is finished. However if the project is a road electricity may never be available.

To make sure all construction equipment works, the use of a power generator is a must. If construction work is going to be undertaking during the night, also at least one lighting tower will be needed to provide visibility on site. In HIMOINSA we've got you covered for all possible scenarios.

A construction site is the least delicate place for a generator. The equipment will be outdoors, exposed to different climate conditions that could potentially impact its performance. It will be treated roughly and will be moved from one side to another depending on the needs of the site and the rest of the construction equipment.

For these reasons, generators that can withstand extreme working conditions are a must on a construction site. Robust equipment that is capable of working non-stop, minimizing the running time and optimizing maintenance costs.

At the same time, the equipment should be ready for easy transportation without any damage.

HIMOINSA generators are fully equipped with features that include Stage 3A engines that are able to work under heavy rain, humid conditions, snow and intense heat. Our equipment comply with international regulations on gas emissions, noise emissions and protection against loss of fluids.  you should be getting a robust machine, that is durable and easy to transport.

HIMOINSA canopies are designed to optimize load capacity, both for wheeled land platforms and in 20 ft or 10 ft ISO containers. A special kit is provided with 10 ft containers to be handled as if they were a 20 ft container. In addition, HIMOINSA provides CSC approval for maritime transportation.

Our canopies are made in house and they are sealed and prepared to block the entrance of water. We work with high quality sheet steel which is treated to ensure resistance to salt spray testing of more than 1,000 hours.  After treatment, the sheets are covered with epoxy polyester powder paint that is then baked at 200ºC. This process ensures the resistance to the harshest weather conditions.

Noise can be a concern in construction sites. HIMOINSA canopies have a soundproofed insulation made of high density rock-wool, which increases the mechanical properties of the canopy and provides a high rate of sound level absorption.

HIMOINSA equipment is easy to operate. Our machines are short, compact and durable, which will guarantee a profitable investment. Our chassis is provided with a liquid retaining system in accordance with the current legislation.  We provide movement skids, lifting hooks and forklift rails integrated in the chassis for ease of movement around the site.

Light on Site

HIMOINSA has designed a full range of lighting towers that are compact, robust, versatile and offer extended autonomy.

With a lighting capacity of up to 1,320,000 Lumens, some of our Apolo Range towers can light up an area of 110,000 SQM and have 166 hours autonomy. The equivalent of 17 nights without being refueled.

Their carefully thought-out design includes LED lights that consume substantially less fuel. Their small measurements also make them easy to transport, reducing the shipping costs.
